With knowledge and love, the more you share, the more you have

I had barely "recovered" from BaW and Blog06 sessions, when I learnt Gladys Baya was starting a Yahoo Group to go on discussing topics related to language teaching and technology integration. As I know of Gladys's expertise, skill and work capacity, I immediately decided to join her group, "Learning with Computers". I soon found many well-known names there, even Vance Stevens introduced himself to the group, in what I felt like the blessing of the old patriarch ("old" in the "experienced" sense, Vance, don't take offence, please!).
What I like about the group is that Gladys is planning to discuss a topic at a time (this week it was Netiquette) and she has even been thoughtful enough as to set activities for the more experienced and the novices. No one will have excuses to stay away now. And next year there will hopefully be a bunch of LwC graduates at EVOnline sessions.
Glayds has asked me to help her moderate the group and I'm thrilled at it. It's my first experience doing such a thing and I hope not to let her down. She's one of the most generous and encouraging people I've known in my teaching career (a true Webhead, that is) and I must do my best to deserve the honour of her trust.
So people from all corners of cyberworld, you're formally invited to join us in this adventure. I've put a "Subscribe Box" in the sidebar to make it simple for you.
Hope to see you in the group!

Hi Claudia--

I like the Frappr slideshow at the top of the blog.

why don't you tell the Learning with Computers YG how you did it? (I'm lazy and want you to show us!)

Hugs--and thanks for the Easter Eggs--

Dear Clau,
I can find no words to describe the joy your blog brings to my life... I think I've already called it a "jewel"! Every entry is an inspiration to me...
Thaks for ALL you're giving all us members of LearningwithComputers. Our group would certainly not be without you.. and, you know, I am a better teacher (and person, I think) because of you!

LOL,

Gladys
