In this course we demystify computers and the Internet, along with their jargon, so that students understand not only what they can do with each but also how it all works and why".
Understanding Computers and the Internet is produced by David J. Malan, is a course that will be offered in Fall 2006 at Harvard University's Extension School. It is part of the school's Distance Education Program. It is aimed at giving some technology background to local and distance students with different levels of computer knowledge and it is accompanied by a series of hands-on workshops for f2f learners and problem sets for distance learners.
